Leterghetic: A Display Font That Commands Attention
Designer Notes You’ll Actually Use
- Test it in black and white first. Color can mask spacing quirks or weight imbalances—especially in tighter pairs like “To” or “Ve.”
- Check readability at 16px on screen and 6pt in print. It’s not meant for small text, but knowing its functional floor helps avoid last-minute swaps.
- Mock it up early—on real surfaces. Try it on a textured business card, a fabric swatch, and a mobile screenshot. Display fonts live or die by context.
- Compare uppercase vs. lowercase deliberately. Its lowercase has personality, but uppercase gives you tighter control—use that to your advantage.
- Review spacing in your layout software. Kerning is solid out of the box, but letters like “A”, “V”, and “W” may need micro-adjustments in tight headlines.
- Pair it thoughtfully. Next to a warm serif font (like Merriweather), it grounds elegance. Against a clean sans serif font (like Manrope), it adds distinction. With a script font or handwritten font, it creates compelling contrast—if used sparingly. Avoid pairing it with another high-contrast display font; they’ll compete, not converse.
- Confirm commercial licensing before client use. Leterghetic is a premium font—make sure your license covers web embedding, app usage, and resale in design assets like Canva templates or printable design bundles.
